Why I Started Selling Avon?
Why Start Selling Avon? I grew up using Avon and have always liked Avon products. My aunt sold Avon for years, and retired from Avon when she turned 80. I went 3 years without holding an Avon book in my hands, and I experienced withdrawal. Oh goodness, I still get giddy when I hold a new brochure in my hands! I finally told my husband that I was going to sell Avon even if I only sold just to myself. I wasn’t going any longer without an Avon book.
Why Start Selling Avon? You Can Earn Money Selling Avon!
I signed up and started talking with family and friends about being an Avon rep. Imagine my surprise when my first order was for $400. My second surprise was realizing that I could make extra money by selling Avon. I earned Honor Society level sales in my 1st year, and Rose Circle sales my 2nd year.
I had no idea what the opportunities were with Avon. When I looked at the leadership charts I was overwhelmed and told myself I would never move up the scale because it was too complicated. I still get overwhelmed when I see how far I have to climb, but I am no longer thinking I am unable to get there. There are so many wonderful Avon reps that are willing to share ideas and support; I am just one of the many.

I worked full time teaching middle school health while I built my Avon business. I began Avon leadership just 4 months after signing up. Within 2 years of starting my Avon business I retired from teaching (having spent 32 years in the classroom) and can now focus more time on Avon.
I love Avon and I love my Avon business! I’ve made so many dear friendships with my customers, and with other Avon reps. I enjoy working with my team, and helping them become successful with Avon.
