Does No Mean Never, or Not Now?

Recruiting, When Does No Mean No: Recruiting for customers or team members must be a top priority when you are in Network Marketing.  You must find new customers, and you must grow your team if you really want to be successful.

When someone tells you NO they are not interested in an Avon book, they usually mean ‘NO, NEVER’.  People that like Avon are nearly always interested in getting a current book.  I’m like a kid in a candy store with every new book that comes out.  I love the glossy pages, love the beautiful pictures and layout and find several items to order in every book.

Recruiting, When Does No Mean No:  Recruiting means being patient with their response, and digging further to find out if NO means NOT NOW, or NEVER.

When someone tells you NO they are not interested in selling Avon, sometimes NO means ‘NEVER’.  Sometimes NO means ‘JUST NOT RIGHT NOW’.  We have busy lives and busy schedules.  Maybe they are involved with a special task at work, or caring for a sick family member.  Maybe they have thought about selling Avon, but the timing just isn’t fitting in to their schedule right now.

People Buy/Sell Avon For LOTS of Reasons!

Ask your contacts if NO means NEVER, if NO means you can check back with them in a few weeks, or if NO means you can contact them in 6 months or a year.  You might be surprised with their response.  We need team members when they are ready to join us, not when we are ready for them to sign up.

Don’t be shy talking about Avon with everyone you meet.  You never know when they might have a relative, friend, colleague or neighbor that needs money.  This person just might think of them and share their contact information with you.
